From July 2016 – Present, Robert has joined the “Expert” team at Apple Retail. CBS Television Stations

From May to August 2015, Robert held a cross-functional internship within CBS Corporation, rotating between content and business areas of CBS-Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh’s CW. Highlights included writing guest questions and promo teases for Pittsburgh Today Live, producing a news package from start to finish which broadcast on KDKA-TV News, and executing online content management for the CBSLocal app and Pittsburgh.CBSLocal.com.


Whitecoat Productions

From January to April 2015, Robert interned abroad in London at Whitecoat Productions, which specializes in creating branded-content. Robert helped develop and produce captivating videos for companies including Unilever and Vodaphone, as well as assisted Whitecoat’s Production Manager in scheduling on-location shoots.

 


WPXI-TV NBC

From April to August 2014, Robert interned in the Digital Content department of Pittsburgh’s NBC affiliate station WPXI-TV. He acted as a photographer and editor for WPXI’s entertainment news section, adapted broadcast content for WPXI.com while maintaing continuity with on-air coverage, and created engaging material for the station’s social media platforms to drive viewership.

iHeartMedia Inc.

From April to August 2013, Robert interned at iHeartMedia Philadelphia. He produced his own segment of public affairs show What’s Going On? which broadcast on Q102, Mix 106, Radio 104.5, and iHeartRadio. He also produced Nicole Michalik’s iHeartRadio interviews with A-list celebrities including Demi Lovato and Jessie Eisenberg. Robert additionally fulfilled hundreds of in-house commercial production orders each week, published content for “Nik the Web Chick’s” on-air personality page, and was selected to manage the social media strategy of the Radio 104.5 Summer Block Party Series. Robert’s engaging work in social media management over the summer developed an online pool of tens of thousands of listeners in key demographics, and connected them to the websites of Philly’s six iHeartMedia station brands.

Tech Talk on WPTSradio

Robert created, produced, and hosted all 30+ episodes of Tech Talk, a weekly technology panel show which broadcast on WPTS, the non-commercial radio service of the University of Pittsburgh. The Pitt News recognized Robert as Best WPTS Host in its 2013 “Best Of” edition, and WPTS awarded Robert Best Interview of the year. Robert was invited by the University to interview Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple.
